Just completed a large-scale felting project! See progress from idea to completion below, including videos (in reverse order).

Fiber Stash
Embarking on a massive fiber art project I’ve had on my mind for a while! We finally have fairly consistent cooler weather, so it’s time to work with wool, listen to my playlist, and break for a cuppa when necessary.
Most of this fiber is from a farm in Sealy, Texas where the owner gave me sacks full of goat mohair I’d like to thank and honor the following for their selfless contribution: Crowndale Farm’s Bluebonnet, Peregrine, Cadbury, Fanny Mae, Gwen, and Hazel. Honorable mention to Gromit, Rufus and Winona (my friend’s giant poodles who I also hope to include in this fiber art project).

FELTING
What is felting? It's the seemingly magical art of transforming separate threads of fine wool fiber (roving) into a solid and durable piece of fabric. Color and texture can be varied through artistic design and choice of materials. "I'm drawn to the unpredictable nature of felting and other fiber arts. You must form a respectful relationship with the organic fiber you work with; it won't be bullied into submission!"
